On top of Website Design we offer a Website Favicon Design service too. A Favicon (favourite icon) is a small image displayed on every web page of a Website near the URL (web address) box on the left of the web address and on the tab for that Website in a internet browser window. It is a customised image which can be made from a logo, text or any other image that you would like.
We can display across your Website any Favicon image that you provide us or even create you one from scratch.
This is the Favicon image from the Sheds in Cambs Garden Sheds Website. We designed Sheds in Cambs a favicon image using their Company logo.
This is the Favicon image from the Ali's Tandoori Indian restaurant Website. We designed Ali's Tandoori a favicon image using the most recognisable feature of their Indian restaurant, the text from their shop sign. Which is ideal for a favicon.
This is the Favicon image from the Tiny Gardens garden design and maintenance Website. They are a smaller company so do not have need for a company logo. So they asked us to put together a Favicon image for them. We used used aspects from the Website look and design to create a simple and pleasant looking favicon.
This is the Favicon image from the BQAL Pharmaceuticals and Quality Assurance Website. The favicon was designed using their company logo.
We also offer a Website Header design service, using XHTML and CSS (Cascading Style Sheets) for Header design we can create you a Header that is pertinent to your company or Websites design layout. We can also design you a series of Headers and using CSS we can set up your website so that it has a differently designed Website Header graphic on each web page or any pages that you choose. Or design a number of Headers so the Header graphic can be changed.
This is the Sheds in Cambs header graphic design. Instead of creating a header graphic that looked separate from the rest of the page we designed one that fits into the page to give the illusion that the page is a whole, this makes for a nice effect. We used their company logo, photos and info that they gave us and graphics we created to put this together.
This is the Header graphic design used on the Tiny Gardens Garden Design and maintenance Website. A beautiful design using image manipulation. We can create you a Header graphic from any text and photos that you supply to us, or if you like we can use your own header graphic.
This is one of the Header graphics we designed, used on the Simply Planes aviation archive Website. We designed a number of Headers for Simply Planes because they wanted the Header Graphic changed on a regular basis. Using a photograph, their company logo, text, font, font size and font colour provided by themselves makes this a nice looking design and also uniquely customised to their Website.
PHP can be used for a number of things pertaining to Website Design, including PHP Web page contact forms for Websites.
The Sheds in Cambs PHP contact form. They asked for a jump menu/drop down menu for the contact form so customers can select which product they are interested in. Not only does this look good it also makes it more efficient for Sheds in Cambs when processing emails. We also created an image to be used as the submit button using a wood grain graphic and styled so it is felicitous to the Website.
This is the PHP web form/contact form from the Tiny Gardens Garden Design and maintenance Website contact web page. An example of how a PHP web form can match the theme of your site, and give your website a more professional and aesthetical touch, instead of just using a basic mail to: web link on a contact page.
A photo gallery can bring the whole look of a Website together, whether it is made just using HTML, CSS and/or Javascript it can be one of the more interesting features of your Website.
The Sheds in Cambs thumbnail XHTML/CSS/Javascript Photo Gallery design layout. Using CSS to style the DIV container for each thumbnail image and the containing box.
This is the CSS rollover effect on the thumbnail photo gallery on the Sheds in Cambs website. Using a smooth border CSS rollover effect it eliminates the use for images making the page load quicker and it gives a nice effect too.
As a user clicks on one of the thumbnail images on the Sheds in Cambs website it invokes the Javascript to open up the photo, the images around it and the overlay image you see underneath it. This is the loading stage of the photo gallery.
The final stage of the Javascript/CSS photo gallery. The white opaque overlay image covering the whole of the screen and in front of it the larger photo.
This is a XHTML/CSS Photo Gallery Design from one of the pages on the Tiny Gardens Garden Design and maintenance Website. A nice looking gallery using some CSS coding and images.
The thumbnail XHTML/CSS/Javascript Photo Gallery design layout from the Simply Planes aviation archive Website.
Using Javascript to create the actions as the user clicks on a thumbnail image to view that particular photo and CSS to position and layout the thumbnails for the gallery.
This is the overlay image and modal window stage of the XHTML/CSS/Javascript Photo Gallery design on the Website. This type of photo gallery looks fantastic and very professional looking. When the user clicks on one of the thumbnail photographs it invokes the Javascript which loads the overlay PNG image and loading GIF. A modal window is a box which appears over the top of the screen after a user clicks on an image, text etc on the screen. In this example the modal window is the box containing the larger photograph and informative text. The overlay PNG image is the darker layer underneath that which covers the screen.

Using CSS (Cascading Style Sheets) to design the web page layout on the Website. The left column for navigation, the main column for the Websites main content and the right column for advertising space.
This is the CSS tiled layout design used on the BQAL Pharmaceuticals and Quality Assurance Website. The tiled layout is up there with the CSS three column layout design as one of the more popular Website design layouts.
